GDP at Jubilee
What is GDP?If you already know Plus then you can already dance GDP! If you already dance Mainstream you only need to learn a few additional calls to be able to dance in our GDP Hall. For a list and description of these calls, see:
If you are in a class that is headed for Plus, or if you have danced Plus in the past, you may already be familiar with some of these calls. But even if have never heard of any of these calls from the Plus list -- but you do know Mainstream -- we invite you to come to our special FREE workshop on Friday evening at Jubilee. We will be explaining them all and giving you a chance to get some practice with them. After that, you will be able to dance all day on Saturday at Jubilee -- as well as at the SCVSDA's monthly General Dances, where the same call list is used. |
GDP Sessions at the 58th Annual Jubilee
The 58th Annual Jubilee will have GDP-level dancing all day on Saturday -- from 10am to 5pm during the day, and from 8pm to closing time in the evening. If you have already been dancing at our monthly General Dances, come enjoy an expanded program of GDP-level dancing this September at Jubilee!
A full-day Saturday ribbon for the 58th Jubilee is just $30/person. (Dancers under 18 can take advantage of the Youth price of $20.) Or you can come for either just the daytime or just the evening for $18.
In addition, we are offering a FREE workshop on Friday evening for Mainstream dancers which will cover everything you need to know to be able to dance in our GDP Hall. Whether you are an experienced Mainstream dancer, a "rusty" Plus dancer, or a beginner on your way to Plus who has learned all the Mainstream calls but only some of the Plus calls, come to this free session and you will be ready to have fun dancing at Jubilee all day Saturday!
